I have had mine since the 70s, and when my daughter took an interest in canning, I immediately ordered it for her. This is the first book about canning I purchased, and it's still my go-to reference. Even as I write this, I'm processing a batch of hot and spicy tomato relish from this book. Today I also made four jars of wine jelly - still a great and very simple recipe. Instructions are clearly written and illustrated. Recipes work just as they are supposed to.
